Catch Up
I have slacked since April; sorry to all my avid readers- Mandy!
There was Jared's Graduation in May, and then Brett Tschannon's wedding in June. Then there was a Balloon Glow in September in Forest Park. For my Birthday we went to the wineries and it was just in time because now it is getting colder...

London and Brighton- 2008

It was a great trip; a little cold for my taste, but there was plenty to see and do. And we even found some good places to eat! British food is usually bland, so we branched out- I tried Japanese food. I went with my friend Kelly ( a D.C. girl now) and we went to visit Courtney (a Londoner- getting her MBA). In London we went on a Tour Bus through London and on the Thaimes River, then to Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, British Musuem, National Gallery, and to a play. We spent one night in Brighton and walked around the next day before returning to London. The train only takes 50 minutes. I'll try to put up as many photos as possible. But I know I won't get everything in there. Hope everyone is doing great!

Sales
I love holidays like Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and not just because it is important for us to remember the struggle people have had to go through to achieve their rights. Happily enough, it is also a great time to go shopping, which I don't really do anymore. This is odd, considering I know live in a large city, and not in a small town for college. But I suppose if you have things around you, then you find less of a need to go to them. It is just like when I studied abroad and I would crave American food- like Tex Mex, Buying Milk that was already in the refrigerated section, and Velvetta- a love the fake cheese. The French just don't take to that. I almost forgot- the most needed item when I was over there was Aloe Vera. I know this is a plant grown on the American continent, but I guess the Europeans think that lotion is just as good at helping with a sunburn- NO ITS NOT!!!
Anyhow- I bought a leather jacket today at JCPenny's and it was $120 on sale- so I got it for $30 and I am very euphoric at the moment!!
